It was believed that music has a magic power. But besides it’s role in religion and cult, music has been using for a political matters, what is shortly describe in this article. The author stops in 1980’s taking this years as an important time for Western popular music appearing in China. In that times rock music started to be more into politics then artists wanted. This article is an attempt of making a short sketch through history of Chinese rock and coming a new music – a western pop. The author want to show how is looks like music entertainment now and how it was born. The article is also giving fast description of the biggest and most powerful music labels and giving some starts names.There rest of article is about two most influential and talented pop stars in Chinese music, who are Wang Lee Hom and Jay Chou. Both of musician started their carrier in the last years of XX century and are invincible till today, still bringing something new to theirs musical styles and new released albums.In the end of this article author is trying to find some specific characteristic of Chinese popular music and it’s entertainment.
