Not all life situations encountered by a social worker can be regulated legally or raise ethical concerns. At every stage of the social worker’s professional activity, there may be a conflict of values because in everyday professional practice the most important role is played by the good of the individual.Social work theory is based on two codes: legal and ethical, which facilitates decision-making but often causes ethical dilemmas among social workers.
