The stratification of this social group occurred as a result of economic and political changes, but it did not cause the loss of family awareness. This study is primarily an attempt to reconstruct the most important events in the life of Jan Hilary Łubieński and is intended only as a contribution to the development of the biography of this landowner. Although he did not stand out particularly from his family, we can observe areas of activity that show signs of family affiliation. Despite significant economic and political differences between this line originating from the Staviszyn estates and distant relatives, all descendants are still a uniform organism, which owes its existence primarily to: passing names from generation to generation, creating a family tree, using the coat of arms, common burial place, choosing one town as the seat of the family, owning estates that have been owned by the family for several generations, using noble titles and passingo n family traditions.
