%X The article deals with the issue of polygraph tests performed in Poland for the use of special services within the framework of their operational and reconnaissance activities and for investigative purposes. The authors point out the differences between tests carried out for operational purposes and tests carried out for the purposes of a criminal trial. They answer the question about the legalisation of polygraph tests within operational and reconnaissance activities.
