It shows not only how the village borders were established, but also raises issues related to border signs, people participating in measurement commissions and ways of recording borders and validating them. Attention is paid to the direction of starting the measurements and the poorly researched case of the so-called border witnesses. This article, in the absence of record books, can also be a contribution to genealogical research and historical geography.
