Poland from 2022–2024. To perform this task, the following methods were used: corpus analysis – creating a corpus of twenty press texts on ecology, quantitative and qualitative analysis – extracting the most important word compounds using the Corpusomat tool from the CLARIN-PL infrastructure relative to C-value. The C-value indicator says a lot about the importance of collocation for a given corpus; on its basis, it is possible to predict the validity of word compounds in other press texts. The study selected the most important collocations for the ecoreportage genre with a C-value of more than 10.00 >10,00), such as: climate change, global warming, water pollution, iceberg, ocean wave. This means that the topics of climate change, global warming, water pollution, melting icebergs and causing ocean waves will also be an important theme in other texts in the genre of contemporary press eco-reportage.
