%X The article is a review of a publication dedicated to the sociological analysis of the international flamenco community in Seville. Chapters of the book are presented and described, along with a critical analysis of the applied methodology. The introduction, the chapter on the history of flamenco, the research discipline of flamencology, the applied theory and methodology of the author’s research, as well as the results of the conducted research are all discussed. The reviewed publication provides basic knowledge about the history and practice of flamenco, attempting to explain the phenomenon of its international popularity and the related model of how foreigners function in Seville’s flamenco community.
