The legislative and extra-legislative activities of the state in this regard, aimed at both media representatives and the survivors themselves, were analyzed, as well as activities of non-governmental organizations. The purpose of the article is to answer the question of whether the measures currently being taken in Poland and Italy are sufficient to protect sexual offences survivors from secondary victimization by the media.
