Work has evolved beyond merely being a means to earn a living; it increasingly involves building a career, pursuing one’s calling, or fulfilling personal aspirations. An emerging threat faced by modern workers is occupational burnout. This topic holds significant societal importance due to its impact on the individual employee and the functioning of the organization they are part of. Occupational burnout affects not only the employee, influencing their professional and personal life, but also the company they work for. Moreover, burnout is more commonly observed among workers whose professions are mismatched with their interests, talents, psychophysical conditions, and health. Therefore, the proper selection of a profession, where an individual spends more than half of their life, becomes paramount.
