This strategy has a double functionality, representing both a renunciation of the postmodern poetical discourses of the 80s and an embodiment of the desideratum of poetic individuation. Throughout self-referentiality, Dumitru Crudu repositions the world towards the poetic self by fragmenting it into a spectrum of personal reactions.
