Among them strong ties have been established with Ukrainian organizations, especially the Shevchenko Scientific Society and the Ukrainian Academy of Arts and Sciences. The paper describes levels and forms of institutional cooperation. It tries to answer the following questions: was this collaboration accidental or rather resulting from PIASA’s long-term vision and goals? In what fields partners managed to build joint representation?  VL - 2023 (XLIX) IS - Vol. 2 (188) PY - 2023 SN - 2081-4488 C1 - 2544-4972 SP - 117 EP - 1358 DO - 10.4467/25444972SMPP.23.019.18633 UR - https://ejournals.eu/en/journal/smpp/article/polski-instytut-naukowy-w-ameryce-a-organizacje-diaspory-ukrainskiej-wspolpraca-naukowa-i-kulturalna KW - Polish Institute of Arts and Sciences of America KW - PIASA KW - Polish-Ukrainian relations KW - Polish diaspora in the U.S. KW - academic organizations of diasporas in the U.S. KW - East-Central European diasporas in the U.S. KW - federalism KW - New Pluralism KW - New Ethnicity
