Hundreds of exiles fled from Sweden and Finland to the safe harbor of Poland-Lithuania. Some lists of these refugees, created in various circumstances, have been preserved. The paper aims to present results of a research project focused on this issue and in particular pertaining to some documents concerning exiles from the Polish Crown Metrica held in the Archiwum Główne Akt Dawnych (The Central Archives of Historical Records in Warsaw). The summarizing of the Polish Crown Metrica of King Vladislav IV has received a great support. The project of summarizing of the Book MK 180 was financed by the Polish National Science Center (Narodowe Centrum Nauki), decision number DEC-2013/09/B/HS3/03578. The continuation of the project, summarizing of the Books 181–190, was financed by the National Program for the Development of Humanities (Narodowy Program Rozwoju Humanistyki) in 2014–2018.
