Abstract

Niniejszy artykuł jest drugim z kolei segmentem trzyczęściowego cyklu artykułów na temat historii leczenia raka sutka od czasów starożytnych po współczesność. Stanowi bezpośrednią kontynuację części pierwszej wydanej w poprzednim numerze czasopisma, opisującej to zagadnienie w starożytności. W poniższej części zaprezentowano metody leczenia oraz koncepcje patogenezy wspomnianego schorzenia prezentowane w źródłach historycznych średniowiecznej Europy, średniowiecznego świata islamskiego, Bizancjum oraz w okresie renesansu, baroku i oświecenia.
