Everyone has the right to request that a public authority ensure the digital accessibility of a website, a mobile application, or any of their elements. It is also possible to request access to information via an alternative ways of access, for example by having a digitally inaccessible document read aloud or by having the content of a video without audio description described, etc. The request should include the details of the person submitting the request, an indication of which website or mobile application the request concerns, and a method of contact. If the person submitting the request indicates a need to receive information via an alternative ways of access, they should also specify their preferred method of receiving such information. The public authority should fulfil the request without delay, no later than within 7 days of the date of submission of the request. If it is not possible to meet this deadline, the public authority shall immediately inform the person submitting the request of the date by which the request can be fulfilled; however, this period may not exceed 2 months from the date of submission of the request.If ensuring digital accessibility is not possible, the public authority may propose an alternative means of access to the information. If a public authority refuses to fulfil a request to ensure digital accessibility or to provide an alternative means of access to information, the person submitting the request may lodge a complaint regarding the provision of digital accessibility of a website, a mobile application, or an element of a website or mobile application. After exhausting the procedure described above, it is also possible to submit an application to the Commissioner for Human Rights.

There are many downloadable files on the Jagiellonian University Press website. Not all files may be fully accessible, e.g., they may lack headers or alternative descriptions for tables and graphics.
However, in the case of documents scanned and placed on the website, we also publish their available alternative version.
We ensure that alternative descriptions are added to graphics and images presenting essential information. Additionally, buttons and form fields are properly described.

Wydawnictwo Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego (Jagiellonian University Press) is located in a building managed by Jagiellonian University, at 9/2 Michałowskiego Street, 31-126 Kraków. To enter the building, press the door opening button.
At the Jagiellonian University, you can use the Polish Sign Language interpreter. The service is available from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. To ensure better translation comfort, you should notify the Jagiellonian University Disability Department in advance of the need to use the interpreter's services. The service is free of charge. The building is not equipped with typhlomaps. The building does not have signage with raised numbers or Braille. No audible navigation system has been installed in the building. The facility is accessible to a person using an assistance dog.
We currently do not provide any mobile applications.
