<div id="cke_pastebin">Due to many reasons, the phenomenon of occupational burnout in educational institutions is ignored. Therefore, it was considered advisable to carry out a research in the scope of the level, frequency and causes of occupational burnout among teachers in secondary school. The research work subjects are teachers of a randomly selected mechanical school complex in Poland. The results of the research presented in this paper lead to the conclusion that the occupational burnout syndrome affects the surveyed teachers. Most of the teachers are aware of the occupational burnout affecting them, however they are unable to unequivocally define its level. Almost 80% of respondents apply no remedies.</div>
