Abstrakt

Niniejszy artykuł ma charakter przeglądowy, bazuje na literaturze anglojęzycznej, zaś jego celem jest kompleksowa analiza i synteza aktualnej wiedzy na temat specyfiki procesu radzenia sobie z traumatyczną stratą bliskiej osoby, która popełniła samobójstwo, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem trzech kluczowych aspektów: dynamiki rodzinnej po traumie samobójczej, reakcji emocjonalnych i behawioralnych na traumę po stracie suicydalnej, dostępnych form profesjonalnego wsparcia w żałobie. Z postawionym celem koresponduje przyjęte pole problemowe, które wyraża się w pytaniu: jakie ilustracje empiryczne przedstawione w literaturze anglojęzycznej wskazują, w jaki sposób dynamika rodzinna, reakcje emocjonalne i behawioralne oraz dostępne formy wsparcia warunkują proces radzenia sobie ze stratą suicydalną? W celu uzyskania odpowiedzi na tak postawione pytanie badawcze dokonano przeglądu kluczowych baz danych naukowych, takich jak: PubMed, PsycINFO, Embase oraz Web of Science, poprzez stosowanie kombinacji słów kluczowych: „żałoba suicydalna”, „samobójstwo”, „zaburzenia adaptacyjne”, „trauma”, „wsparcie”, „interwencje terapeutyczne”. Analiza pozyskanych treści opierała się na: porównaniu wyników badań, z uwzględnieniem różnic i podobieństw w obszarze dynamiki rodzinnej, reakcji emocjonalnych i behawioralnych oraz form profesjonalnego wsparcia; interpretacji wyników w kontekście teorii i modeli naukowych dotyczących żałoby suicydalnej; syntezie wniosków z przeglądu w celu określenia kluczowych implikacji teoretycznych i praktycznych.

This article is a review, based on the English-language literature, while its aim is to comprehensively analyze and synthesize current knowledge on the specifics of the process of coping with the traumatic loss of a loved one who committed suicide, with a particular focus on three key aspects: family dynamics after suicidal trauma, emotional and behavioral reactions to trauma after suicidal loss, available forms of professional grief support. Corresponding with the stated goal is the adopted problem field, which is expressed in the question: what empirical illustrations presented in the English-language literature indicate how family dynamics, emotional and behavioral reactions and available forms of support condition the process of coping with suicidal loss? In order to answer such a research question, key scientific databases such as PubMed, PsycINFO, Embase and Web of Science were reviewed by using a combination of keywords: “suicidal bereavement,” “suicide”, „adjustment disorders”, “trauma”, “support” and ”therapeutic interventions”. The analysis of the extracted content was based on: comparing the findings, taking into account differences and similarities in the areas of family dynamics, emotional and behavioral reactions, and forms of professional support; interpreting the results in the context of scientific theories and models on suicidal bereavement; and synthesizing the conclusions of the review to identify key theoretical and practical implications.
