Marta Pawłowska holds a PhD in Linguistics from the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, where she is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Romance Philology. Her research focuses on comparative Romance linguistics, the Judeo-Spanish language and Sephardic culture, as well as translation studies. She is the author of the monograph La categoría de género: naturaleza, percepción, tradición gramatical and has published numerous articles on Judeo-Spanish, Spanish, and Catalan. Beyond her academic work, she is active as a translator and interpreter specializing in Spanish and Catalan.
