abstract = {The functioning of the Jewish Religious Community in Krakow

	The Jewish Religious Community of Krakow is one of the seven Jewish communities in Poland. Jews from the south-eastern part of the country belong to it. The Jewish community in Krakow can boast centuries-old history and rich material and spiritual heritage. The aim of the article is to present the functioning and contemporary way of organizing the Krakow Jewish Religious Community, with a special focus on the city of Krakow. An important aspect is also the presentation of holidays and other socio-cultural initiatives (e.g. the Jewish Culture Festival) which take place in the space of Krakow’s Kazimierz, the main centre for all the areas belonging to the community.},
