Narration and “Women’s Language” in Jacqueline Harpman’s Orlanda The aim of the paper is to analyse Jacqueline Harpman’s Orlanda in the light of feminist linguistics and narratology. The narrator of this novel, although explicitly identified as a woman, uses linguistic and narrative strategies culturally defined as both feminine and masculine. The result is an androgynous narration that matches very well the novel’s subject of a cross-gender spirit migration.   VL - 2016 IS - Volume 11, Issue 2 PY - 2016 SN - 1897-3035 C1 - 2084-3933 SP - 109 EP - 117 DO - 10.4467/20843933ST.16.012.5321 UR - https://ejournals.eu/czasopismo/studia-litteraria-uic/artykul/la-narratrice-est-elle-une-femme-narration-et-langage-feminin-dans-orlanda-de-jacqueline-harpman KW - Belgian literature KW - Jacqueline Harpman KW - narration KW - women’s language.
