In the analysis of translations by Bronisław Zieliński, it turns out that the Polish version of Hemingway’s writing differs from the English one. Polish translations of Hemingway were published due to several political reasons and they were adapted to fit into Polish readers’ expectations. The article contains an analysis of short excerpts from The Sun Also Rises.
