For the purpose of this study, a computer program acting as an expert system for FMEA has been implemented. The knowledge base of the expert system contains the medium voltage current transformer data. The Expert system structure, principle of operation and the data acquisition process were discussed. An expert system has been tested during the FMEA analysis of the medium voltage current transformer.
