There is a truth and a reality in Mandanipur’s short stories – contrary to the post-modern belief – but in Mandanipur’s short stories this truth and this reality is always defined by a narrative and a narrator. Hence one must talk about different angles on truth and reality as demonstrated by the following analysis of Shahriyar Mandanipur’s short story Shatter the Stone Tooth.
