Usagi Yojimbo i Japonia z okresu Edo  AB - COMICS, CRITTERS, AND KATANAS: USAGI YOJIMBO AND EDO PERIOD JAPAN Stan Sakai’s Usagi Yojimbo is an ongoing comic book series devoted to the adventures of Usagi Miyamoto. The eponymous character is a rabbit ronin that wanders the Japanese archipelago. Despite its seeming simplicity, the Usagi Yojimbo series is a true trove of information about Edo period Japan. This article presents different ways in which readers are able to acquire knowledge about Japan from reading Usagi Yojimbo. It focuses on several aspects of the series that present elements of Japanese culture, history, and language.
