TY - JOUR TI - Deutsche Syntax für nicht-muttersprachliche Germanistikstudenten AU - Bračič, Stojan TI - Deutsche Syntax für nicht-muttersprachliche Germanistikstudenten AB - The paper deals with the concept of didactic approach to German Syntax from the point of view of students whose mother tongue is not German language. There exist many Grammars of German as foreign language (cf. Helbig/Buscha 2001). Nevertheless even in higher education of foreign students arise a lot of syntactic problems which need special treatment and specific explanation due to the lack of competence in German. Such items are for instance the pronoun es in different syntactic functions, the use of prepositions, the difference between verbal and nominal valency, the use of definite, indefinite, and zero article, verbs with double object compliments, and trends in everyday use of language.
