Method databases of recorded or calculated unit rates and a wide choice of data manipulation techniques, such as intuitive or mathematically supported case-based reasoning, statistical inference and non-parametric modeling are looked at. The consequences of using input from real-life projects and uniform purpose-made calculations (such as those published in Polish pricebooks) are also analyzed.
