%X The paper discusses a unique find: an early medieval vessel with an incised swastika motif deposited as a foundation offering under a house in Jelenia Góra-Grabary (SE Poland, Sudety Mountains). Swastikas on vessel bodies were uncommon in the Early Middle Ages, although throughout the centuries this symbol has been regarded as magical and associated with the solar cult.
